Devoteam, an innovative corporate technologies and management consultancy firm, is reaffirming its position as a leader in open source cloud computing. Since 2015, Devoteam has collaborated with Red Hat, the world’s leading provider of open source solutions. Now, Devoteam has been awarded the status of Red HatPremier Business Partner for Red Hat’s open source cloud computing solutions (Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform), storage (Red Hat Ceph Storage and Red Hat Gluster Storage), and management (Ansible by Red Hat and Red Hat CloudForms).
In France, Devoteam is the first company to obtain this partner level for Red Hat’s cloud infrastructure technologies.
Among the key elements of this expanded collaboration, of particular note are:
- Devoteam plans to create an open source centre of excellence, designed to attract talent. The team plans to help customers drive IT innovation and transformation through cloud computing, particularly hybrid, and the use of DevOps to increase the speed and flexibility with which applications can be delivered.
- Creation of a special channel for the exchange of ideas between technical experts from Red Hat and Devoteam on cloud technologies.
- A flexible joint approach for the implementation of projects covering a range of areas from discovery workshops to digital transformation projects.
- The sharing of skills and leading practices around hybrid data centres and the mobilisation of key technologies across ecosystems. This dissemination of skills and resources will be designed to enable better understanding of the issues facing the cloud ecosystem.
“Red Hat is the world’s leading provider of open source, enterprise IT solutions, helping customers navigate technology and business disruption through open innovation. With more than 70 experts in Europe, Devoteam is proud to have obtained this level of partner status with Red Hat,” said Luc Germain, open solutions director of Devoteam.
“Red Hat technologies are leading solutions for deploying a stable, high-performing cloud environment, the basis of our customers’ digital transformation agenda,” said Jean-Luc Gallicé, managing director of Devoteam.
“Red Hat is delighted to continue our collaboration with Devoteam to help customers successfully implement open source technologies. As customers transform their IT systems to embrace more modern and flexible technologies with open source, we are looking forward to collaborating with Devoteam to help make those projects a success,” said Carine Braun-Héneault, managing director of Red Hat France.
